Author Biography

Caroline Bicks is Associate Professor of English at Boston, College, USA. Her publications include Midwiving Subjects in Shakespeare's England (2003) and articles in Journal for Early Modern Cultural Studies, Modern Philology, and SEL, amongst others. Jennifer Summit is Professor of English at Stanford University, USA. She is the author of Lost Property: The Woman Writer and English Literary History, 1380-1589(2000) and Memory's Library: Medieval Books in Early Modern England (2008).
