Shay Bravo es una autora que nació en México y que ha pasado la mitad de su vida en los Estados Unidos. Comenzó a compartir su trabajo en Wattpad cuando tenía quince años y se conectó con unos 115 000 seguidores. Históricamente inexacto ganó los Watty Awards en 2019 y es su primera novela. Actualmente vive en Virginia.
