Author Biography

James Robert Parish, a former entertainment reporter, publicist, and book-series editor, is the author of more than one hundred published major biographies and reference books of the entertainment industry, including Jet Li, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell's Story, and The Hollywood Book of Death (also available from Contemporary Books). He appears frequently as an expert on television and cable documentaries and biographies about the entertainment industry. He resides in Studio City, California.
