Author Biography

Glenye Cain is the bloodstock business writer for Daily Racing Form, covering Thoroughbred auctions and breeding. She has written about Thoroughbred racing and breeding for numerous publications since 1986 and is a co-author of Champions: The Lives, Times, and Past Performances of the 20th Century's Greatest Thoroughbreds. An avid rider, she has exercised racehorses in Florida and Ireland. A graduate of Princeton University, Cain lives in Lexington, Kentucky, with her beagles. She also owns two Thoroughbreds, one of them a retired racehorse.
