Author Biography

HAROLD S. CHASE accomplished what few real estate developers achieve - a Santa Barbara subdivided, lushly landscaped community that offers tranquility, seclusion, breathtaking views and recreation; all in a modern world made up of mass-produced, crowded housing tracts. This book is the Centennial Reprint Edition of the 30th anniversary celebration of Chase's history, originally written in 1963 about an extraordinary place called HOPE RANCH in Santa Barbara, California.
