Author Biography

James Marriott has written about horror films in a full-length study, Horror Films (Virgin Books), which was selected by the Times as one of their film books of 2004, a series of essays for Creation Books, and articles for magazines and websites including cult periodical Headpress ('Essential reading” —Fortean Times).   Kim Newman is a novelist, critic, and broadcaster. His fiction includes The Night Mayor (Carroll & Graf); Anno Dracula (Titan Books); Life's Lottery (Pocket Books); Back in the USSA, with Eugene Byrne (Mark V. Ziesing); and The Man From the Diogenes Club (Monkeybrain). His nonfiction books include Nightmare Movies (Bloomsbury USA); Ghastly Beyond Belief, with Neil Gaiman (Arrow Books Ltd); Horror: 100 Best Books, with Stephen Jones (Carroll & Graf); The BFI Companion to Horror; Millennium Movies (Titan); and the BFI Classics studies of Cat People and Doctor Who.
