L. Bob Rovetch has written several books for children including Ook the Book, published by Chronicle Books, under the moniker Lissa Rovetch. L. Bob lives with her family in California.

Dave Whamond is a cartoonist whose syndicated comic Reality Check has been nominated as the best panel of the year by the National Cartoonists Society. He teaches illustration at the Alberta College of Art and Design.
