Author Biography

Pat O'Shea was born in Galway in the west of Ireland in 1931. She says it was a good place to grow up-close to the sea, to Lough Corrib, and the unspoiled countryside. The old people that she knew then were very kind, had a lot of time for children, and told her many stories of long ago. This is her first novel.
