Author Biography

Kevin Murphy has been a scholar of nineteenth- and twentieth-century architecture for more than twenty years and Murphy is the author of several books, including Abrams’ The American Townhouse. His essays have appeared in numerous scholarly publications. He lives in New Jersey.

Paul Rocheleau is an architectural photographer whose work has appeared in numerous magazines and books. He lives in Massachusetts.
