Sheila Kanani has a PhD in planetary science. She works at the Royal Astronomical Society in London and also teaches Astronomy to high school-age kids. Her favorite planet is Saturn. Dr. Kanani lives with her husband and son in Lancashire, England.

Sol Linero is a children's book illustrator and graphic designer who likes to draw colorful characters and playful situations filled with detail. She has illustrated several books for children, including other books in the How to Be series. She lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
