Author Biography

Heidi Evans, a national award-winning journalist for the New York Daily News, has been a staff writer for the Wall Street Journal, Newsday, and the Los Angeles Times. Earning the prestigious Nieman Fellowship from Harvard University in 1993 for her coverage of women's health issues, she was also selected one of New York Woman magazine's twenty-five women who have made a difference in the life of the city. Evans lives in New York City with her five-year-old daughter and her husband, who prays that his wife has thousands of dollars stashed safely away so he can retire early and relax on a beach.
