Author Biography

My parents told me my first words were ôfix apart.ö Later, I could be kept busy for hours with an old windup alarm clock, screwdriver and pliers. Now I write whatever I put my imagination to and I have about fifty books copyrighted. I call it fiction, but I wonder. After writing my first three books, I enrolled and completed the Famous Writers School 's home study course in fiction writing in 1965.What was my background? Born to lower middle class parents. Hobby between 12 and 17 years of age was building electronic radios and equipment. Technically inclined in high school. Two years at U of M with two-year AA degree. Three years Army Security Agency ù Signal Intelligence Branch of NSA - trained as 3709 Radio Traffic Analyst; honorably discharged as sergeant. Trained at Dunwoody in machine shop, Draftsman in tool design and detailing of jigs and fixtures. Product Engineering draftsman at St. Paul-based company as detailer, layout man, project draftsman, lead man, checker, first concept designer - ten patents awarded. Worked for contract companies as designer for various engineering projects. Worked as CADD operator on CV4X, Anvil 5000, and UG2 computer systems for nine years.Married with two sons.Retired at 62 in 1992.Selected for inclusion by Marquis Who's Who in America , in Midwest , in Health Care and Medicine, in Industry and Finance, in Science and Engineering.
