Author Biography

Angela Bauer-Levesque is Harvey H. Guthrie Jr. Professor of Bible, Culture Interpretation at Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she has taught since 1994. She has a diploma from Johannes Gutenberg Universitaumlet;t in Mainz (Germany), and earned her M.Div. from Universitaumlet; Hamburg (Germany) and M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York.
