Author Biography

Tom Kuczmarski is the founder, senior partner, and president of Kuczmarski & Associations, an innovation-management consulting firm. He is a nationally recognized expert in innovation and the development of new products and services, having helped hundreds of clients from small businesses to Fortune 100 corporations. He is the author of Apples Are Square, Innovation, Innovating the Corporation, Managing New Products, and Values-Based Leadership. Dan Miller is the former business editor for the Chicago Daily News and the Chicago Sun-Times and the former editor of Crain’s Chicago Business. He has previously been named Illinois Journalist of the Year and is a member of the Chicago Journalism Hall of Fame. Luke Tannen is the director of the Chicago Innovation Awards, an annual celebration of the Chicago region’s most innovative new products and services. Rahm Emanuel is the former White House Chief of Staff to President Barack Obama and the current mayor of Chicago. They all live in Chicago.
