Author Biography

Born and raised on Long Island, Gretchen Saule has lived in many parts of the country, but once she discovered Wilmington, she couldn¿t imagine living anywhere else. After arriving, Gretchen quickly made herself at home as writer and editor for several local publications, and has become an active volunteer with many local organizations. A New Yorker by birth, Gwynne Moore is a southerner by choice, having spent much of her life in North Carolina and neighboring states. A seven-year resident, she brings a background of extensive writing, editing, and publishing as well as a deep love for the treasures of North Carolina's Southern Coast.
