Summary

Author Biography

H. W. Singer is Professorial Fellow, Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.

D. J. Shaw worked with Hans Singer for almost 40 years. He was associated with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) for over 30 years and is on the International Editorial Board of the journal Food Policy.
