Author Biography

Nicholas A. Phelps is Professor of Urban and Regional Development at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London, UK. He is author of Multinationals and European Integration, co-author of Post-Suburban Europe and co-editor of The New Competition for Inward Investment. Fulong Wu is Professor of East Asian Planning and Development at the School of City and Regional Planning, Cardiff University, UK. He is editor of China's Emerging Cities: The Making of New Urbanism, and co-author of Urban Development in Post-Reform China and Urban Poverty in China and co-editor of Marginalization in Urban China.
