Summary

The essays collected here represent the results of a major multinational program coordinated by the European Union's Stimulation Plan for Economic Science (SPES). Created to encourage collaboration between researchers across the EU, this project brought together researchers from eight member states in a comparative analysis of intra-industry trade in Europe. The book contains individual chapters on the eight different countries as well as an overview and survey of intra-industry trade issues and theory.
