Author Biography

Matthew Traxler is Professor of Psychology at the University of California-Davis, USA, where he teaches courses in Language and Cognition, Psycholinguistics, and General Psychology. He has served on the editorial board of The Journal of Memory and Language and as a consulting editor of The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition. His research uses eye-tracking and ERP methods to investigate language processing and comprehension in healthy younger and older adults, deaf readers, and patients with schizophrenia.
