Summary

Author Biography

Philip Haythornthwaite has an international reputation as a historian, researcher and author of matters military, with a concentration of expertise in the period between the seventeenth century and World War I. After a business career in his native Lancashire, he soon turned to writing and now has around thirty books to his credit
