Summary

Binky was found wandering in the streets, starved and alone. After being adopted, it was discovered that he didn't like to walk in the rain. This is a rhyming children's book about Binky, and how he overcome his trepidation of walking in the rain when he was surrounded by love and support. The book is a metaphor for children on how to help them overcome small anxieties.

Author Biography

Born in England, and at the age of 8, Gay came in 2nd in a National Essay Competition for schools in Great Britain and Northern Ireland which was sponsored by Cadbury's. The subject was how the Easter Bunny lost its tail! Gay moved to the United States in 1968, and having 3 athletic sons, one , A.J., being a 3 time Luge Olympian Gay created "On The Fast Track" , a newsletter for the Adirondack Luge Club in the late 1990's for several years . Gay is now a top local Real Estate Associate Broker in lower Westchester, and has been writing blogs since 2008 on real estate and local events. Adopting Binky, the pooch in 2012, gave inspiration for this children's book! The book is dedicated to A.J. who walks Binky tirelessly and without complaint.Milan Samadder has been an artist and illustrator since 2009. He is from Delhi (Ngr), India. He has a number of books in his kitty as an illustrator including "Two Dads Under the Christmas Tree", "King of the Dinosaurs", and "How 'Bout Now?" and many more.
