Author Biography

Rudy Rasmus is an author, pastor, street ethicist, and global humanitarian with a passion for outreach to our world's most impoverished citizens. Pastor Rudy co-pastors St. John's United Methodist Church in Houston with his wife, Juanita. St. John's has grown from nine members in 1992 to more than 12,000, a third of whom were homeless or formerly homeless. Dottie Escobedo-Frank is an elder of the Desert Southwest Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. She serves as pastor at Crossroads United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to this appointment she served as one of the pastors at Community Church of Joy in Glendale, Arizona, directing the worship team. She speaks frequently at worship conferences and serves as a trainer for starting new congregations.
