Why is Inner Healing Important?
Traumatic experiences, disconnection from others, and hurtful words and actions affect us mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Unhealed, they keep us stuck in pain, unable to move freely forward. They shape our belief systems, and the painful events and memories become the lens through which we view others and the world around us. We are designed to live an abundant life in Christ, and healing of trauma, abuse, rejection, and shame is available for those willing to take the journey.
You and Your Healing Matter.
You, your pain, and everything you have experienced matter to Jesus. Nothing is too great or insignificant for Him to heal. He understands. He experienced pain too. He has walked the road before you, so He can walk it with you now. Healing is a process, and sometimes we need help along the way. We need to know we are safe, we need things explained, and we need the skills to emotionally and cognitively process what happened. You, and your healing matter—to Jesus, yourself, and to those for whom you care.
