Author Biography

R. J. Ryan first collaborated with Daniel Quantz in comics on the successful 2004 launch of Marvel Comics’ all-ages series Marvel Age Spider-Man. Ryan worked as a West Coast writers recruiter for Marvel, bringing in Quantz to script the book’s first six issues over original 1960s Stan Lee plots. He and Quantz co-wrote Syndrome. David Marquez is a full-time illustrator and also tutors test-taking strategies for the law school and med school entrance exams. Past work includes Syndrome and Days Missing: Kestus, and he is the current artist on Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man.
