Summary

Kitchen Suppers means soul-warming, chill-out dishes that don't require complicated preparation. Choose from soups, pasta, gratins, roasts, and more - simply add a bottle or two of wine, then linger at the table for a delicious, relaxing meal. Salads and Appetizers include Chicken, Asparagus, and Gorgonzola Salad; easy Antipasti; Mexican Shrimp; and simple, delicious soups. Pizza, Pasta, and Rice are the mainstays of good home cooking. Try Linguine with Peas, Pancetta, and Sage; Moroccan Shrimp with Couscous; and Vodka Risotto with Lemon - all just a little bit special for serving to friends. Fish, Poultry, and Meat can make the easiest of entrees, as long as you keep them simple. Serve Tender Brined Chicken with Honey-Thyme Roasted Lemons; or Chili with All the Trimmings. Try Vegetables such as Savoy Cabbage with Bacon and Cream; Sugar Snap Peas and Fennel; or Butternut Squash with Pistou. Sweet Things can be Strawberries with Mascarpone Cream and Meringue; delicious, easy Baked Amaretti Peaches with Raspberry Sauce; or the richest Flourless Chocolate Cake.
