Anna tiene casi 10 años y le encanta leer. Le gusta tanto que Monsen, el bibliotecario, se ha convertido en uno de sus mejores amigos.
Un día, su amigo le cuenta a Anna qué sucede con los libros que nadie quiere tomar prestados de la biblioteca. Estos libros desaparecen, se destruyen.
