He printed her photograph from the contract, put it in his pocket. He had to find her and save her life. The tall man in the black trench coat and fedora realized that Bryan had uncovered the murder contract and executed a plot to kill him. The plot failed, only injuring Bryan but throwing him into an underworld of treachery and suspense. He woke up from his injuries with a head concussion, not knowing who he was or how he got there. The only clue to his past was the photograph of the lady in red in his pocket. In another part of the city, the killer had discovered that Bryan was still alive and looking for him. About the Author

B. ANN BAYLISS acquired her writing skills from a daily journal she kept during the two decades of title search, lease acquisition, and title curative as a field landman in the oil and gas industry. Her work carried her across the country from the fields of Pennsylvania to the groves of California and from the plains of North Dakota to the swamps of South Louisiana. The people she met from all walks of life and the stories they told were all recorded in her journal and serve today as a bank of personalities and experiences, some of which are found in the characters of this book.
