Author Biography

Patrick Griffiths has taught at the University of York and York St John University in the UK, and internationally at the University of the South Pacific and Beppu University, Japan. Andrew John Merrison has taught at the Universities of Durham, Edinburgh and York, and at Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh. He is currently a senior lecturer in linguistics at York St John University. Aillen Bloomer has taught linguistics and applied linguistics at York St John University where she now holds the title of Fellow. She has also taught in Warwick, Sweden, Germany, Vietnan and China.
