Author Biography

Xing Chen is a neuroscientist who has lived and worked in the US, the UK, and Singapore. In 2014, she moved to the Netherlands to develop brain implants for the restoration of vision in blind people. On the very first day of her arrival in Amsterdam, she purchased a secondhand bicycle, with the help and advice of a local friend. She gradually mastered the art of cycling through the crowded city streets, and now cycles for an average distance of over 20 km per day. In
