In this large format book, internationally renowned photographer Henk van Cauwenbergh takes us on a tour of the most famous and fabulous brasseries of Paris. No haphazard selection, but the favorite addresses of Charles Aznavour (singer, actor and writer), Irène Silvagni (editor of Vogue Paris), Omar Sy (actor and best remembered for his film Intouchables), Chico Bouchikhi (founder of the Gipsy Kings)... all of whom have lent their cooperation to this unique project. They take you to cherished places: Brasserie Lipp, Café Costes, La Closerie des Lilas, Le Comptoir des Saint-Pères, L'Avenue, Au Pied de Cochon, Le Bouillon des Colonies La Société, Café des Deux Magots and many others... And of course they also make their appearance in the photo selection. Every brasserie is extensively documented, with special attention to their authenticity and the details that characterize the atmosphere of the space.
