Author Biography

Seneca Clarkùauthor Seneca Clark was raised in New Hampshire and has lived in the Boston area since 2000. She is a graduate of Skidmore College, with a bachelor's degree in creative writing and a minor in studio art, a background which has afforded her the unique ability to focus not only on the written word, but to envision conceptual designs as well. Seneca's writing is culled from her travels around the globe. Her background in magazines includes work for such publications as Where Boston, Boston Magazine, Esquire, In Madrid and US News & World Report, and she has been a copywriter for numerous large businesses and retail web sites. Seneca is a thrill seeker who never shies away from an adventure and comes from a large, loving extended family with over 100 members. She lives in Jamaica Plain, Mass., with her husband, Chris; and their cats, Nemo and Kona.Sandy Giardiùauthor Raised in Ohio, Sandy Giardi has lived in the Northeast since she graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she majored in English literature. After receiving a master's degreeùalso in English literatureùfrom Northeastern University, she entered the magazine industry and has been a writer and editor for 12 years. She has written on a wide range of subjects, from celebrity interviews and arts profiles to greeting cards and children's books, with work appearing in Where Boston, Where GuestBook, Where New Orleans, Panorama, Playbill, and Design Times.
