Author Biography

Gregory T. Everson, MD, FACP, one of the country's leading hepatologists, is Professor of Medicine and Director of Hepatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has won numerous awards, including the National Institutes of Health Clinical Investigator Award and the American College of Physicians Teaching and Research Scholarship. He counsels hundreds of hepatitis patients, directs the University of Colorado's Program in Liver Disease, and advises physicians throughout Colorado Hedy Weinberg is an award-winning writer and essayist whose work has appeared in such prestigious publications as The Washington Post, Senior Edition USA, The Denver Post, Bon Appetit, and New Choices.
