We must know how the power of GOD worked in the lives of people in the Bible and that power is still available for us today to change situations and circumstances on our behalf today no matter what we are facing. It is up to us to take our faith out of this world's system and put it in GOD's system. This book will be an inspiration for you to redirect your faith to GOD and lean on GOD for direction in your life. GOD is good and he wants to see good things happen in the lives of his children. We can experience the life that GOD intended for us to have through understanding and accepting the love and the grace of GOD that has been given to us through faith.

During our walk of faith in the word of GOD, sometimes there will be obstacles that we encounter. Romans 10:17 states "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD." Keeping your heart and mind focused on the word of GOD will help to sustain your faith in GOD despite the obstacles when you feel the urge to give up or when thoughts of unbelief tries to lead you in another direction. In order to develop faith in GOD, we have to hear about the word of GOD and how it works. You can't live what you don't know. It is our responsibility to seek GOD and the word of GOD on a continual basis which goes beyond our weekly worship service at church. Faith in GOD is going to be assisted by your relationship and time spent with GOD. It is gong to require taking time out of your daily schedule to seek GOD for direction through reading the Bible and spending time in prayer. Time is defined by you. The amount of time that I take will not be the same amount of time that you decide to take but as long as we make the effort, faith will increase in our hearts and lives. In order to develop trust in GOD and his word on how to live the life of faith, we must have a desire to know our part in this process and the tenacity to carry it out even when it doesn't look, sound, or feel like things are changing on our behalf. We have to seek GOD to develop trust that will sustain our decision of faith based on the word of GOD. Without it, faith will be directed outside of the word of GOD. Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. There are things that each one of us wants to take place in our lives. As I stated earlier, you can't live this life of faith based on the word of GOD if you don't know who or what you have faith in. Knowledge is the key to empowerment, victory, and prosperity in all the areas of life. When you have an understanding of what you know, nothing or nobody can come in and deceive you. Today, there are various types of motivational speakers that teach if you believe in yourself anything is possible. Motivational speakers are sent to various groups, companies, and conferences around the world to encourage people about the power of self belief. If you can believe and have faith in your own will power to make something happen, what about believing in the ability of GOD to cause situations to change and work in your life? How can you truly trust GOD for the best that life has to offer you if you believe that GOD is the cause of good and bad things? Often times I have heard the phrase "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away" and GOD is given the credit for loss of life due to some type of sickness or tragedy. This is unfortunate because of the way that a lot of people including myself have been taught through religious, traditional teachings that did not factor in the words that Jesus spoke in John 10:10. If GOD is causing bad things to happen to people, why did GOD send Jesus Christ to suffer and die on the cross? The death of Jesus Christ on the cross did not only deliver us as Christians who have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior from hell but it also gave us the authority to use the name of Jesus Christ to access the power of GOD and triumph over situations and problems in life. GOD IS NOT THE SOURCE OF ANYTHING THAT RESULTS IN PAIN, TRAGEDY, DESTRUCTION OR FAILURE IN LIFE BUT THERE IS EVIL IN THIS WORLD THAT COMES FROM SATAN. THROUGH THE LOVE AND GRACE OF GOD, WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE POWER TO OVERCOME EVIL BY USING THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. READ JOHN 10:10. Then Jesus said unto them again, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. In the passage of scripture, Jesus is referred to as the shepherd and we are referred to as sheep. Just as a shepherd guides and protects his sheep, so do we have available to us guidance and protection through Jesus Christ. What we fail to realize is that there are several forces that are working in this earth outside of the will of GOD for our lives which are Satan, sin, and words of faith that come out of our mouth in support of the problems and situations that we face in life. Complaining, murmuring, and praising the existence of a problem or situation that you are using your faith in GOD to get out of instead of speaking words of faith based on the word of GOD to overcome the problem or situation is not in your best interest. If you are a parent, do you not want the best for your children? Do you want so much more in life for your children than yourself? The answer is yes and yes to these questions for any real parent that loves their children. Think about this to comprehend the love that GOD has for us as his children. Any one that has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, is a child of GOD.
