Author Biography

Ian Spellerberg is a professor of nature conservation and the director of the Isaac Centre for Nature Conservation at Lincoln University. He is president of the New Zealand Plant Conservation Network. Michele Frey is an environmental- and recreational-planning consultant. John Maillard is the program leader of photography and multimedia at Christchurch Institute Polytechnic of Technology. He has been a photographer in USA, Britain, and Africa for more than two decades.
