Author Biography

Andy and Sally Langford have served for thirty years as pastors in the Western North Carolina area. They co-authored the Lenten study Celebrate the Risen Christ. Andy has written Christian Funerals (2010); Is This All There Is? And Other Big Questions About God and Life (2009); Blueprints for Worship: A User's Guide for United Methodist Congregations (2001); Transitions in Worship: Moving from Traditional to Contemporary (1999); A New Connection: Reforming The United Methodist Church (1996). He co-authored the popular Beginnings series and served as editor of The United Methodist Book of Worship. Both Andy and Sally graduated from Duke University Divinity School; in addition Andy attended Emory University and Sally attended Vanderbilt University.
