Author Biography

Alvin E. Roth won the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2012, along with Lloyd Shapley, for the theory of stable allocation and the practice of market design. He is a professor of economics and business administration at Harvard University. His main areas of interest are game theory, experimental economics, and market design.
