Summary

Locally Grown goes out into the Midwest countryside to find the artisanal farms that provide many of the fresh ingredients used in Chicago's top restaurants. With behind-the-scenes stories and beautiful photographs by author Anna Blessing, and featuring illuminating contributions from the farmers themselves, Locally Grown brings to life the passion, hard work, and skill that goes into producing sustainable, locally grown food. The book also includes nearly 70 recipes from chefs and restaurateurs who champion locally grown food on their menus, including Paul Kahan, Stephanie Izard, Sarah Stegner, Bruce Sherman, and many more.
