Built on the successful foundation of Punto y aparte,the best-selling brief intermediate-level text, the Expanded Editionoffers more grammar practice, expanded vocabulary, and a greater variety of cultural contexts, providing ample material for one-year intermediate courses, while maintaining the flexibility to be used in shorter courses as well. Because students come to Intermediate Spanish with disparate levels of language learning experience and proficiency, more challenging grammar receives less focus in the first half of the program, allowing instructors to tailor the program to their course depending on student level.
