Author Biography

George V. Higgins was a journalist, lawyer, and novelist. Many of his novels were inspired by the seven years he spent working for the government in the war against organized crime in Boston. He is the author of Cogan’s Trade and The Digger’s Game. Dennis Lehane is the author of nine novels, including the New York Times bestsellers The Given Day; Gone, Baby, Gone; Moonlight Mile; Mystic River; and Shutter Island. He divides his time between Boston and the Gulf Coast of Florida.
