Maurice Krafft (Guebwiller, 25 de marzo de 1946 – 3 de junio de 1991) fué un vulcanólogo frances que murió a causa de un flujo piroclástico en el monte Unzen el 3 de junio de 1991 en Japón.

Mauricey su esposa Katia Krafft fueron conocidos como los pioneros en fotografiar y filmar volcanes, a menudo a 30 cm de distancia de la lava.
