Summary

He explains God’s promise to his pet dog, Sapphire, and she, in turn, realizes that Nate will always be a part of her life. The illustrations, done so beautifully by Sandy May, bring Sapphire to life. Though written with five- to nine-year-old children in mind, Sapphire is sure to touch the hearts of old and young alike and perhaps give some comfort to those facing the loss of a loved one.
