Author Biography

David Mabberley is Director of the University of Washington Botanic Gardens and holds the endowed Orin and Althea Soest Chair in Horticultural Science at the University of Washington. He also holds the positions of Extraordinary Professor at the National Herbarium Nederland, University of Leiden, the Netherlands; Adjuct Professor at the University of Western Sydney, Australia; and Honorary Research Associate at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sidney.
