Author Biography

David N. Hyman is Professor of Economics at North Carolina State University, where he has taught since receiving his Ph.D. from Princeton University. Dr. Hyman has taught principles of economics for over 30 years and has been the recipient of several awards for outstanding teaching. He has served as a budget analyst in the Executive Office of the President of the United States, has been on the research staffs in the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and has served as senior staff economist on the President’s Council of Economic Advisers.
