Author Biography

About the Authors Todd Kelsey is the owner of Selendrian Group, Inc., a digital media company that has created music and video projects that received national attention. One such project he produced with is "GLF," collaborating with Jim Cooper of the Detholz, and Skipworth of Skipwave Productions. GLF a cross between Alvin and the Chipmunks and Toontzes the Cat. GLF started as a joke, but then spawned a CD (and video) that received airplay on college and commercial radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The video was a hit on IMNTV, an independent music video channel that gave it play in Virginia, Florida, and California. Todd has recently created a promotional DVD to shop GLF to television. Todd has a BA in Literature and an MA in Communications, with a background in desktop publishing and editorial work. He is also a former performing member and online manager of the major label recording act "Sister Soleil," whose first release on Universal Records was recorded at Realworld Studios in England, featuring a cameo by Peter Gabriel. His current pursuits include independent DVD authoring, Flash animation, and a focus on exploring the possibilities of DVD music video compilations. He is forming a band in the Chicago area and will be touring in the Midwest region and releasing an independent album. His dream is to get a ride in a Huey helicopter. Another dream is to play Hendrix's version of the National Anthem at the 100th Anniversary of Woodstock in 2069. Along the way, he wants to play a lot of shows to keep his fingers limber, get a Ph.D. in Communications, and teach helicopter flying lessons on the side. Chad Fahs knew he wanted to tell stories since he was very young. In his mind, moving images were the best medium to accomplish this dream. Whether making home movies or spending countless hours in a movie theater, it was all done with a single goal in sight. This passion soon led to the formation of his own production company in Chicago in 1998, using an Avid system to edit video. During this time, he traveled the globe in search of new inspiration, working on documentary projects in countries as far apart as Japan and France. At the same time, he worked on a variety of other projects, many of which were for local and national bands, in order to feed his musical interests and need for visual experimentation. After working as an Avid editor, Chad decided to expand his digital palette. Eventually, Final Cut Pro became a part of the mix and DVD soon followed. At the same time, he developed an interest in streaming video and interactive elements as a means of telling his stories on the Web. Currently, Chad is working at one of the top internet sites, while continuing to seek out new projects which merge video, streaming media applications, and interactive content. He is also working on a screenplay for an independent film project.
