Author Biography

<b>June Callwood</b> is an author, journalist, humanitarian, and outspoken activist, who has founded and co-founded more than fifty organizations, including in Toronto the AIDS hospice Casey House; Jessie’s Centre, a drop-in and education centre for teenage moms, dads, and their babies; and Nellie’s Hostel for Women. She is the author of twenty-nine books, including <i>Twelve Weeks in Spring</i>; <i>Jim: A Life With Aids</i>;<i> The Sleepwalker</i>; and <i>June Callwood’s National Treasures</i>.
