Summary

This is a rhyming children's story filled with bright, colorful pictures, narrated by author Chris Brady's cat, Bukowski. Bukowski tells the story of when she first came to live with Chris. It took a while, but she learned to trust and love her new parents and grow comfortable in her new home. Bukowski will teach young readers, as well as new cat owners (and their cats), how to get along with one another.

As the series progresses, the reader will learn more about Bukowski. A portion of the proceeds will go to help Harrison's Halfway House Cat and Kitten Foster and Rescue Sanctuary in Philadelphia, PA.

Author Biography

Chris Brady is a musician, singer, songwriter, former school teacher, and cat lover. Chris and his wife own and operate "Harrison's Halfway House" Cat and Kitten Foster and Rescue Sanctuary out of their Philadelphia home, and currently are the proud pet-parents to four cats and one dog, all of whom have been rescued. This is the first of his new Bukowski The Cat series of rhyming, educational stories that hope to help children and new cat owners alike with their lessons and advice.
