Author Biography

Danielle Legros Georges was born in Haiti and raised in the United States. Her poems have appeared in numerous magazines, including The American Poetry Review, The Caribbean Writer, The Christian Science Monitor, and Compost Magazine. Her work has also been widely anthologized, and she has received numerous awards for her writing, including support from the MacDowell Colony and the Barbara Deming Fund. At present she lives in Boston
