Summary

The Curriculum and Standards Framework (CSF) specifies the content of the mathematics course in Victoria. It is organised into levels with level three detailing the requirements for grades 3 & 4. At each level the content is broken into the content strands of: Space, Number, Measurement, Chance & Data and Mathematical Tools and Procedures (MTP). Each of these strands are further divided into substrands. This consumable workbook covers all of the work requirements specified under the CSF for level 3. The grade 4 book also covers all of the work requirements but at a higher level. The books are divided into chapters based on the substrands with a separate activity included for each content 'dot-point'. Each activity carries a 'KidMap' number for easy recording and a student record sheet has been included to plot students progress. Whilst the requirements of the MTP strand is fully met in the contexts of the activities written for the other strands, motivating and challenging activities specifically on this strand are included throughout the text. Answers are provided to all exercises.
