Dr. Wally Y.H. Chen began his career with Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd., d/b/a Maxxis International, in 1974. Rising steadily through the company's management ranks, he was appointed president in 1992 and has remained in that position ever since. Under his leadership, Maxxis International has risen to the ranks of the world's top ten tyre companies, and now takes in more than US$4.5 billion annually.
