Summary

Now in its 27th edition, Mayson, French & Ryan on Company Law provides the most-up-to-date and accurate account of company law available. Presenting this intricate subject with great clarity, it sheds light on the complexities of this field of law, clarifying any areas of uncertainty or ambiguity in a straightforward and readable way. This 27th edition is fully updated to reflect the case law that has now passed through the courts under the ground breaking Companies Act 2006 and how this has impacted upon contemporary law. The legislative framework is supported with discussion of the provisions relating to the creation, financing and management of companies, as well as their insolvency and liquidation. Quotations from important case judgements accompany the discussion of substantive case law, providing detailed analysis of the implications. With annual new editions, Mayson, French & Ryan combines the technical and practical detail with an intellectual perspective, making it an invaluable account of the law as it stands for undergraduates, postgraduates and practitioners alike. Online Resource Center The accompanying Online Resource Center for this title provides a timeline which outlines the implementation schedule for the Companies Act 2006, enabling you to see at a glance when each section of the new Act came into force.
